Terms of service

By using Haven you agree to these terms. Read them through before creating an account. (Translation for convenience; the Dutch version is authoritative.)

The service

Haven is a tool that lets a group of people jointly manage one asset (boat, camper, holiday home, etc.): shared calendar, notes, tasks, inventory and chat. We are not a party to any arrangements you make with your fellow members about the use, costs or ownership of that asset.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secret.
• One account per person; no shared or bot accounts.
• You must be 16 or older.

Acceptable use

You may not use Haven for:

• Posting unlawful, abusive, threatening or hateful content.
• Infringing copyright or other intellectual property rights.
• Sending spam, unsolicited advertising or phishing.
• Attempts to bypass the security of the service, exploit vulnerabilities or overload the service.
• Automated scraping or bulk use of the API without prior written permission.

Content you post

You retain all rights to content you post in the app (photos, notes, chat messages). By posting content you grant us a limited right to store and display it to the other members of the same asset, solely to provide the service.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or delete an account upon breach of these terms or on suspicion of fraud or abuse.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep Haven available, but make no guarantee on specific uptime, speed or uninterrupted functioning of the app. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of data.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated via email to the address linked to your account. Continued use after the change counts as acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
